Salonica Appeals Case.

State Succession — Judgments of Courts — Appeal from Judgments Given by the Courts of the Predecessor — Application of the Law of the Predecessor.

The Facts.—An action relating to land was decided by the Court of Appeal of Salonica, and an appeal against that decision to the Ottoman Court of Cassation was entered, before the annexation by Greece of the district where the land lay. After the annexation the case was brought before the Areopagus at Athens.
